For those who did, they will know exactly what I’m on about.

Let me describe it for you in the best way I can. Can you remember the last time you worried about something?

Surely you can and surely it hasn’t been that long.  Worrying is something everybody does.

Even the richest people in the world worry from time to time. To begin with, there’s nothing wrong with that. It proves you are human. We humans worry a lot. The good news is that this isn’t bad news. That is, if you are willing to acknowledge your worries. What I am trying to say is that the moment you are worrying you’ll have to start being aware that you are worrying. It can be a bit confusing sometimes but don’t make it more complicated than it is.

So, this is how you do it.

One day you start worrying and you realize: ‘Oh f*ck, I am worrying’.

There are a few things you can do.

The first thing you can do is ask yourself: ‘What am I going to think of next?’ This will get your mind of worrying immediately. The second thing you can do is in fact telling yourself to stop worrying because it is of no use. This really literally feels like a warm blanket that comes over you. The feeling and realization that it’s so easy to control your mind is overwhelming.  Yet another thing you can do is listen to some music you like. This will also set your brain in another mode.  There is no magic involved here. Anyone can do it. You don’t even need practice. Only the recognition of worrying. That’s all.

These are only a few things you can do to stop worrying. Again, worrying is totally useless so we have to limit our worrying to zero. The less worries the more happiness.

Stopping yourself to worry is a very powerful thing and will give you a lot of self confidence, and yes, a true feeling of happiness.

Oh and even when it’s hot, your warm blanket will feel nice!
