The lockdown is not finished yet, we’ll have to follow the rules of social distancing, which I prefer to call physical distancing, some weeks longer.
Not a real surprise there, right?
Other measures like no music festivals this summer have been taken. I’m going crazy about the talk about these and other measures.
And here’s why:
Haven’t we learned anything yet?
It seems we haven’t…
Let me clarify this some more. We are now in the middle of April thinking about how sorry we are that going to festivals will be not on our agenda!
Have we lost our minds?
I feel sorry for the artists, the stage builders, the organizers, the local communities and people whose income is on the line by this Corona crisis. Yes, I really do. It’s a disaster on many levels.
But it is time we stop whining about something we can’t do in the summer, which is by the way still more than 3 months away!
Is corona making sure we are losing our minds? We are all acting as if the world is coming to an end because events are canceled!
It is time to start learning what Corona teaches us. In the summer we will be able to get out of our houses again and meet people. So, what’s all the fuss about. Go and meet your friends, enjoy sunsets, listen to music, drink beer, make love, laugh your ass off and put your head out of it!
I was hoping corona would have taught us something but apparently, Corona didn't teach us anything yet.
Shame on you!
Start making some sense again by taking the opportunity to rediscover the important things in life.
If corona isn’t able to teach us this, I fear that nothing will.
Let’s please all stand still for one minute and think it over.
Can we do that?
