Yes I know it’s a song, but why don’t you like Mondays?
Because you need to go back to work?
Then I have some shocking news for you.
If you don’t like going back to work, you have the wrong job!
You’re spending more time on your work than with your family.
Do you realize that?
So again, if you don’t like Mondays, you have the wrong job.
It’s very simple to resolve this question.
That isn’t easy?
I agree. But it is simple.
Let me help you.
The first thing you need to do is decide that you want to quit your job.
The second thing you need to do is to find out what you would love to do.
Once you’ve got that you can work to it.
Don’t be too hard on yourself.
Give yourself some time for the transition.
What I don’t want you to do is find excuses like: ‘I need the money.’
Because that would mean you like the money more than you would love what you do.
If that’s the case, then good luck and stay at your job for another 30 years or so.
Is that what you want?
If the answer is no, you know what to do.
Focus on your transition and make a plan.
Once you’ve decided you want to quit your job, the plan will enroll itself.
Don’t waste time at a job you hate or working with people you don’t like.
There are plenty of opportunities but you won’t see them before you decide to quit.
Wouldn’t it be nice that you wouldn’t even care for the weekend anymore?
For me, Saturdays and Sundays are just like any other day.
It has been like that for more than 30 years.
And I can guarantee you that it’s a great feeling.
Have a nice Monday and if you hate Mondays, you know what to do.
No excuses anymore.
Go and decide.
