IS IT THAT TIME OF THE YEAR AGAIN?

Which good intentions did you make for 2021?

If you by now didn’t do it, you can be fairly certain you will not start anymore. Typically, people make these intentions at the beginning of the year.

In 2021 I will stop smoking

In 2021 I will drink less

In 2021 I will go to the gym

In 2021 I will start my own business

In 2021 I will stop eating meat

In 2021 I will make some time for my family

Why is It so hard not to endure?

We’ll have to ask ourselves why we decided in the first place. Is it our decision or did friends, family and loved ones had something to do with it?

If it is not our decision, we won’t follow through, unless of course it is ordered by a doctor. And even then, people tend to ignore that consult.

Why are we so keen to let other people decide in our place?

Why?

Well, that’s a good question, because there is no reason. We all know deep down what’s best for us, but we fail to act upon it.

It is the fear of change. As long as it is not life-threatening, we won’t change.

And this is the difference with people who follow their passion, who live their own lives, who are happy and don’t worry.

They make their own decision and stick to them.

Sure, not every decision will lead to success, but in the end, it is your decision, and you will take responsibility for it. At least you don’t need to find an excuse like most people do.

At least you can be proud of yourself to walk to path you choose, even if it’s a path that hasn’t been walked upon yet.

Sure, it’s hard, but is it worthwhile?

Simple answer: yes!

Let’s get S.E.R.I.O.U.S.

If you have the feeling that you are worth more than what you are getting now, then you need to change.

Sure, changing is a process, but the decision to change can be taken NOW!

It should be taken now.
