I always genuinely ask myself the question why so many people are working just to make a living?
Not that there’s anything wrong with it, but why would they do that when there is no single reason, they shouldn’t do what they love.
Is it they have been told they should be glad they’ve got a job?
Is it they have been told to be thankful and just shut up?
Is it they have been told you have to be happy with what you’ve got?
Is it they have been told they won’t ever find a job like that?
Is it they have been told that they can’t have it all?
Is it they have been told they can’t make a living out of their passion?
Is it they have been told too many people are already doing it?
You’ve got to ask yourself one question:
Is it true what you have been told?
Is it worth it going to work on Monday wishing it was already weekend?
Is it worth it having no challenges and doing some job that doesn’t make a difference?
Is it worth it having a job that pays well but you dislike?
Is it worth it throwing your life away and making yourself unhappy?
Is it worth it waiting on your retirement to finally start doing what you love?
Is it worth it setting this example for your children?
Wouldn’t you rather:
Jump out of bed to start your day?
Be working at a job that allows you to see your family as often as you want?
Work with people you choose and have the same passion?
Never think about retirement?
Be excited all the time?
Have a job where time flies?
Feel joyful and have fun?
This could be your life.
The only thing you need to do is decide. Decide whether you want to go on like you are doing now or you can make the change!
We get to choose whatever we choose.
It’s all up to you.
